Digital Photography
For campers who have always done programming, maybe it is time to try something new! Morning sessions are for 2nd-5th graders; afternoon sessions for 6th-10th graders.
Campers will learn the fundamentals of digital photography. Day One will start with a brief overview of a DSLR camera (camera not required), including aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. Day Two and Three, campers will practice their composition, keeping in mind framing, symmetry, rule of thirds and more. The dynamics of different types of photos: nature, water droplets, portraits, action. Finally, campers will start to upload photos for their portfolio and how to edit their photos using industry-standard software, Adobe Photoshop.
